A Trip of Pride & Patriotism Part 4

Family Day at Ft. Benning started bright and early on Wednesday, June 20, with PT (Physical Training). In the summer, if it is still dark outside, you know it is early! We found out that it wasn't even really as early as the guys normally would be up for PT, but we were able to experience a little bit of what they had been going through every morning. You couldn't help but have tremendous feelings of great pride in being able to see the physical growth, the discipline and the pride our soldiers were displaying! We watched at the sidelines as they went through their routine stretches preparing for their morning run on base. As the units started out on their 3 mile run, we were able to cheer them on. Warm fuzzies for us as our soldier passed by!!

 

 

 

 

Even Hunter thought it was a little to early to be out and about!


All though he was in true “BCT Soldier” form while running, we knew how to put a smile on his face!
